Poetry Night Fall 2018
Client: NGU Students, almuni and faculty
Challenge: Striving to provide a platform for open conversation and community building, Poetry Nights have been an annual event for the past 10 years. The challenge now was to market it on a much larger scale to the Tigerville community.
Role: I was asked to help find, and communicate with the desired audience. This included students currently enrolled in NGU, alumni and faculty. I saw that the older generation needed the use of printable content while the younger generation was drawn to social media. I was given full creative freedom in the design. I then created a poster and multiple social media post to schedule leading towards the event.
Results: The cooperative efforts on multiple platforms helped bring as much attention to the event as possible. Students and faculty received emails, while alumni and special guest of the program saw the event on Facebook and even had a chance to interact with a live stream of the event. That event brought the attention to North Greenville University and more specifically the Interdisciplinary Studies department and the quality students that are being produced from there.
